[Vidéo]"Hell's Gate": Touratech Racing gets into the final
The The Italian "Hell's Gate", one of the world's hardest Extreme Enduro races, was as devilish as expected. About 120 brave riders from all over the world tried to tackle the unforgiving "Hell's Peak", but only 30 of them qualified for the finals - one of them was Gerhard Forster on his Touratech Husqvarna TE 449 who seems to be going strong even that early in the year and passed the qualification brilliantly in 7th position (18th overall).
The final race was unbelievably hard: After the first round of the final phase there were only ten riders left, and only two made it to the top of "Hell's Peak": Doug Lampkin and winner Graham Jarvis, both from Great Britain. Touratech rider Jens ter Jung, seven times German trials champion, made his Enduro debut at this out of all races finishing in the first half of the starting field. Jens did very well in the extreme zones but just wasn't fast enough for the final rounds - not yet. "No Fear No Limits" on 6 March in Croatia and "THE TOUGH ONE" in England on 13 March are coming up next for Touratech Racing.
